Violinist Rebekah Wolkstein and bassist/guitarist Joe Phillips bring their full musical lives to this intimate evening for two. Both members of Payadora Tango Ensemble, they share a passion for music without borders —Argentine tango, South American folkloric music, Baroque, Spanish classical, jazz, and the haunting resonance of the Norwegian Hardanger fiddle.
Joe is principal bassist of London Symphonia and an in-demand touring musician across multiple genres — a musical partnership that spans centuries and continents.
